Underground Toys and Forbidden Planet have released details of their next Doctor Who Classic Series exclusive pack, featuring The Master and The Fifth Doctor based on their appearances from the episode 'Planet of Fire'.

The Fifth Doctor and Turlough are on the island of Lanzarote because the TARDIS has detected a mysterious signal being transmitted from an unknown, recently salvaged artefact. They meet a young American botany student named Peri Brown, whose stepfather has been replaced with a shape changing robot as part of a plot by the Master. He plans to bring the TARDIS to the planet Sarn, so he can use that world's revitalising Numismaton gas to restore his body, accidentally shrunken in an accident. The Master (Anthony Ainley) is apparently defeated when the stream of gas turns to a normal hot flame. The Doctor destroys the shape changing robot, Kamelion, at the robot's own bidding as it has become completely unstable. Turlough leaves to return home, while Peri leaves with the Doctor.

This exclusive set is priced at £24.99 and is now available to order from Forbidden Planet stores in the United Kingdom and from selected US retailers.

 07 July 2010 | Series 5 | 13 Inch Dalek Drone Released!

13 Inch RC Dalek Drone To Hit Stores Soon!

Many years ago, the Daleks sent out thousands of egg-shaped Progenitors containing the genetic coding of the race, so that new Daleks could be created whenever necessary. One of these Progenitors was found in war-torn England during the Second World War and transported to a Dalek ship.

However, because the Daleks that found it had been genetically modified by their creator Davros, using his own DNA, the Progenitor did not acknowledge them as pure Daleks, until the Doctor identified them as such and the Progenitor created a new race of powerful Daleks as a result. These Daleks were led by the white-cased Supreme, the red-coloured Drones, the enigmatically titled yellow cased Eternal, blue cased Strategists and orange Scientists.

This fully functional radio controlled 13” Dalek Drone includes a handset with ‘Dual Stick’ movement control, 10 Dalek phrases and exterminator gun sound effect, activated using the five button sound selector. Also includes an illuminated eye, poseable gun and arm.

Dalek requires 4 x AA included. Controller requires 1 x 9V not included. For ages 5 years and over.

The Eleventh Doctor saw off not one but two alien threats almost as soon as he crashed to Earth. His new companion, Amy Pond, first met him when she was seven years old, and while he was clad in the raggedy remnants of the Tenth Doctor’s suit. Twelve years and four psychiatrists later, the girl who waited wanted answers! Realising he owed her that much, the Doctor, now clothed in a tweed jacket and a cool new bow tie, welcomed Amy into a brand new TARDIS, and took off on a series of thrilling adventures around the universe. However the two time travellers are being followed on their journey by a crack which appears wherever they go… and it looks a lot like the one on Amy’s bedroom wall…

Amongst these Daleks were the Orange Scientists.

In this exclusive set from Underground Toys we present the Eleventh Doctor in burgundy shirt and braces, and an Orange Dalek Scientist, the Doctor comes with a Sonic Screwdriver accessory.

09 June 2010 | Series 5 | Infared RC Battle Dalek Ironside Announced

Battle Of The Generations

Professor Edwin Bracewell was an inventor working for the British Army during the second World War. He had a brilliant mind, and ideas such as “hypersonic flight” and “gravity bubbles” seemed to come to him from nowhere. One particular concept was the “Ironsides”; robots designed to be the perfect warrior, equipped with a ray gun and manipulator arm, and pressed into service as Britain’s latest weapon. However, Ironsides were really the last remnants of the Daleks, who had fallen back through time. Professor Bracewell was in fact their android creation, part of a complex trap to lure the Doctor back to where they were hiding, so he would unwittingly allow the Dalek race to be reborn…

This fully functional radio controlled Dalek Ironside has full 360 degree movement control, a built in infrared combat system which allows you to use two Daleks to battle against each other, flashing lights and speech. Features also include a poseable gun and arm. Infrared battle with two Daleks requires two Daleks of different control frequencies (27Mhz & 40Mhz). One supplied. Requires 6 x AAA batteries.
